Most silent strips are gentle. Something about the lack of words make the makers of such strips turn to a warmer, fuzzier, sometimes even maudlin sense of humor. Not so Louie, the all time great of silent strips. Like Mr. Bean, he lives in a harsh world and isn' so much suprised as annoyed by it. Maybe it's better we can't her his reaction...
